Invasive Strike Force: Guided Invasive Species Walk

Are you part of our Invasives Strike Force volunteer program and would like to hone your ID and reporting skills in the field? Even if you aren't a current survey volunteer, are you interested in learning about some of the high priority invasive species in our region? Come join us for a guided walk that focuses on this year's invasive species survey list.

Come join our Associate Director of Stewardship for a guided invasive species identification walk at Buttermilk Falls County Park in Orangeburg,NY to help brush up on your field ID skills. We will also review the Invasives Strike Force Survey data collection and reporting procedures and review how to use key nature ID and reporting apps that will help you feel confident. This walk will be tailored towards current ISF Surveyors who have already completed the required ISF Survey Training workshop sequence but any and all are welcome to join!
