Located on a separate parcel of Washington Crossing State Park, this short .45 mile trail to the main attraction, Goat Hill Overlook, makes a great side trip in conjunction with a hike either at Washington Crossing State Park orTed Stiles Preserve at Baldpate Mountain as it only requires a short drive to access.
From the parking lot, continue on the gravel road beyond the metal gates. The trail will wind up the hill on a gradual incline, passing unmarked trails to the left the at .2 and .3 mile marks. In just under half a mile arrive at the top as the trail veers to the left where you will find great views of the Delaware River with Lambertville, NJ on the right side and New Hope, PA just across the river. Retrace your steps back to your car.
