Schooley’s Mountain County Park
Park Overview:
A former YMCA camp, this park offers hiking, picnicking, boating, swimming, fishing and winter activities.
Park Description:
Schooley's Mountain Park is the former site of Camp Washington, a YMCA camp from the 1920s to the 1950s. Although the park features a large picnic area, a lodge, and other developed recreational facilities, most of the park remains in its natural state. Many hiking trails pass through wild and undeveloped portions of the park that are far removed from the more heavily used areas
Trails Overview:
A two-mile section of the Patriots' Path [white] traverses the park from Fairview Avenue to Rock Road. There are several other blazed trails within the park, including the Grand Loop Trail [yellow]. Use the Web Map link on this site to locate a trail map.
